Kahiwa Coffee Roaster
Roaster: Joonas Reinikainen
Roast: medium
In the Chirinos village, Tocto-family has united coffee growers together and created a community that shares a passion to develop coffee farming techniques and quality of their coffee. This Peruvian micro-lot coffee stands out with surprisingly bright peach-like notes which are supported by notes of cocoa nibs. We roasted this coffee especially to work well as a lighter espresso shot.
When talking about Peruvian coffees, people can often have some prejudice towards the quality and flavour profiles. We found this coffee to be the one that shifts your perspective and really offers new experiences.
